MACHINING ENGINEER

The Company – Integrated Energy Technologies (IET) is a leading manufacturer of combustion components and systems for Gas Turbine Engines. We have immediate opening for a Machining Engineer.

The Position – This is a "center of excellence" position. IET has five manufacturing facilities and all have machining and fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the operating practices of each operation and developing the Company standards which will ensure consistent, cost-effective practices are employed in each facility.

This position will assist in the capital planning process to ensure IET maintains leading-edge capabilities through employment of state-of-the-art machining equipment. When new equipment is acquired, this person will be responsible for ensuring timely installation and transition of production.

Additionally, this position will assist in trouble shooting of machining challenges and problems at all IET facilities.

The Qualifications –
  • Four year degree from a recognized major university in an applicable discipline
  • 10+ years experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers, electrical discharge, H2O jet, horizontal and vertical turning
  • The successful applicant will be experienced in flexible machining centers, palletization and remote operation
  • Must have hands on programming and tool design experience
  • Willingness to relocate and travel as required.
